This one hour add-on course will ensure that you have the correct knowledge and skills when working at height and with ladders.
It will teach you how to use step ladders and combination ladders safely and to assess the risks involved in order to ensure the appropriate equipment is selected, checked and maintained.
This one hour course can be added onto any of the one day workshops
WORKSHOP CONTENT
The following areas will be covered during this one hour, add-on workshop:
- An introduction to the most suitable equipment; making sure you understand how to select the right type of ladder and how to use it safely
- An informative breakdown of all the risks involved when working at height whilst using ladders
- Ladder checks
- A practical demonstration of how to use a ladder safely
- Different venue requirements and considerations: Where the ladder will be used and the practical considerations involved
